Play a game of Kangaroo tag, dodge or octopus.

Develop a plan of how you would look after a Kangaroo if you found one.

In groups students can develop their own Kangaroo game. This can then be played within the class.

Students are to imagine that they have found a Kangaroo. Students are to list ways in which they would look after the Kangaroo e.g what they would feed it and how they would keep the Kangaroo clean.

In groups students will look at the different species of Kangaroo. Within these groups the students will research the different characteristics of the Kangaroo, what they eat and their natural habitat. See interactive part of this site.
